All of our fishing trips in the Himalayas are carefully put together from our clients specific requirements, but we have designed a simple 10 day fishing tour to look over and give you a better idea of the style of trips we offer, and what other services we offer to make the trip easy for the anglers and non anglers alike.
10 Day Mahseer & Goonch Fishing Holiday (Ramganga River):
Day 1: Arrive in Delhi and drive straight to hotel in Ramnagar near the Corbett National Park. Spend first night at a lovely hotel with dinner and drinks (all included except alcoholic drinks).
Day 2: After breakfast leave the hotel and drive up to our most popular India Angling camp on the upper Ramganga river (3hrs drive). At this camp you will stay in clean, bright rooms with western toilets, hot water, electricity and fans, located right next to the river.
Day 3-9: Full days fishing on the Ramganga River. For non anglers there are opportunities for relaxation, nature walks, cooking lessons, a tour round a Hindu temple and trips to the local town for sari shopping). Midday of day 9 leave India Angling camp and drive back down to Ramnagar (3hrs) and after a relaxing dinner board the comfortable air conditioned night sleeper train for journey back to Delhi (10pm – 5am).
Day 10: Arrive in Delhi at 5am and head to hotel/guesthouse for a sleep, wash and breakfast before driving to the airport to board your international flight home.
Tour Cost Includes:
• All accommodation in tents or rooms on twin sharing basis
• Transportation within India (private vehicle or train tickets in air conditioned seats)
• All meals during stay at India Angling camps
• Fishing permits and guide
• Services of supporting staff
• Bottled water/soft drinks during stay at camp
• Full use of fishing tackle and equipment
• Government taxes

£1300 per person (based on 4 guests)
£1600 per person (based on 2 guests)
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
The following activities can be arranged as a part of the trip or as separate days added onto the beginning or end of your holiday. Most of our clients wish to visit other places of interest while they are in India to make the most of your time in this special country.
